Tuition
Tuition is based on an annual charge and then divided into ten monthly payments. Tuition is due regardless of absence due to illness, vacation or school holidays. Tuition payments begin August 1st and end May 1st. August and September tuition checks need to be pre-written (post-dated for August 1st and September 1st and signed), and included with completed enrollment forms. They will be deposited accordingly. All tuition payments are nonrefundable.

Tuition includes healthy non-meat snacks, such as crackers, peanut butter, cheese, fruits, cereals and baked goods, but does not include lunch.  Children staying until 1:00 bring their own lunch.

Deposit
There is an annual nonrefundable deposit of half a month's tuition ($215 per family for 9:00 - 1:00; $190 per family for 9:00 - 12:00). This deposit is not part of tuition.  A check for this amount must be included with your completed enrollment forms in order to assure your child’s place in the fall.

Note: Importance of Tuition and Deposit - Tuition and deposit payments are the financial support of the school; it’s what makes our program possible!

Enrollment
Little Tree is open to all children ages three through six regardless of religion, gender, physical differences or national or ethnic origin. Enrollment is for an entire academic year, September through mid June. All enrollments are considered to be a ten-month commitment. This is established with your deposit, first tuition payment, and signed tuition agreement contract.

Withdrawal Policy
While all enrollments are considered to be a ten-month commitment plans do sometimes change. If it becomes necessary to withdraw your child (and your financial support from the school) you are required to give thirty days notice prior to the withdrawal. If notice is given prior to February 1, your responsibility for tuition ends thirty days after notice is given. If notice is given February 1 or after, you are obligated to honor your financial commitment to the school by paying tuition for the remainder of the school year unless the opening left by your child’s departure can be filled.

Trial Period
New children are given a six-week trial period during which time their readiness is assessed and their adjustment to the classroom evaluated. If, by the end of six weeks, it appears your child is not ready for Little Tree or that we are unable to meet your child’s needs, we will work with you to determine what will be in your child’s best interest. If your child needs to be withdrawn from the school we will work with you to help facilitate a smooth transition. We will allow time for you to make other arrangements before enrollment is terminated, provided your child’s behavior is not destructive and/or dangerous to him/herself and/or others or excessively disruptive to other children in the class.
